Start with fewer products

Most first collections are too wide. Three well-made products in the right fabric usually outperform ten average ones, and cost far less to develop.

Colours cost more than sizes

Each colour is dyed separately and carries its own minimum. Adding a colour affects your order value much more than adding a size does.

Sampling is a real cost before you have any stock to sell. Plan for it, and plan for at least one revision round.
