Development notes

The decisions that actually determine the outcome for this product, and are best settled before sampling.

Fabric weight changes the whole product

A 150 gsm tee and a 220 gsm tee are different products at different price points. Heavier jersey holds an oversized shape and reads as more premium; lighter jersey drapes and suits warm-climate markets. We usually recommend confirming weight before pattern development, because it affects both the fit and the cost.

Neck construction is the detail buyers notice

Rib composition, collar width, shoulder taping and whether the neck is set in flat or overlocked all affect how the garment survives washing. These are specified on the sample and checked again before bulk.

Print method follows the artwork and the quantity

Solid one- or two-colour logos are usually most economical as screen print. Photographic or multi-colour artwork, and small runs, are generally better digitally printed. We advise on this once we see the artwork.

MOQ starts from 50 pieces per colour for suitable styles. Final MOQ depends on the product, fabric, construction, number of colours, finishing and sourcing requirements.

Questions about this category

Can you match a T-shirt I already own?

Yes. Sending a physical sample is the most accurate brief you can give us. We measure it, identify the fabric and construction, and develop a sample to match — or to improve on it where you want something changed.

Can I order different colours of the same style?

Yes, though each colour is treated as a separate minimum because fabric is dyed per colour. Adding colours usually raises the total order more than adding sizes does.
